Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website and services provided by Georgian Travel Corp, a tour company registered and operating in Georgia, Tbilisi (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
By accessing the website, making a booking, or purchasing any service, the client (“Client”, “you”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:

Company means Georgian Travel Corp, a tour company registered and operating in Georgia, Tbilisi.

Client means any individual or legal entity who books, purchases, or participates in a service provided by the Company.

Services means all services offered by the Company, including Tour Services, Transfer Services, Travel Consultation Services, and Itinerary Design Services.

Tour/Tour Service means any guided travel service, tour package, excursion, activity, or experience organized or offered by the Company.

Booking means a confirmed reservation made through the Company’s website or official communication channels.

Down Payment means the advance payment required to confirm a Tour Booking.

Hiking and Adventure Tours means tours involving increased physical activity or higher risk, including hiking, trekking, horse riding, off-road travel, or similar activities.

Cultural and Historical Tours means sightseeing, cultural, historical, gastronomic, or other low-risk tours.

Food and Wine Tours means all inclusive tours focused on culinary and wine experiences, including visits to wineries and in-person interaction with winemakers. This category tours cover transportation, guidance, wine tasting, lunch and dinner, admission tickets to atractions as described in each tour descriprion.

Travel Consultation Service means a one-hour online video consultation during which a Company travel expert provides general travel advice, recommendations, and answers to questions based on the Client’s stated needs.

Itinerary Design Service means a personalized travel itinerary prepared by a Company travel expert and delivered in PDF format, based on the Client’s interests, including recommended routes, accommodations, restaurants, landmarks, national parks, tours, and practical travel tips.

Day Trip means a tour that starts and ends on the same calendar day.

Multi-day Tour means a tour lasting more than one calendar day and involving overnight stays.
2. General Conditions
2.1. The Company provides travel-related Services primarily within the territory of Georgia. In addition, through its established partners in neighboring countries, the Company may arrange and provide guided tours, transportation services, and related travel services within the territories of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Services provided outside Georgia may be subject to local laws, regulations, and the terms of third-party service providers.
2.2. By making a Booking, the Client confirms that they have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
2.3. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms apply only to future Bookings and shall be published on the Company’s website.
3. Prices, Payments and Refunds
3.1. General Payment Rules (Applicable to All Services)
3.1.1. All prices are calculated and payable exclusively in Georgian Lari (GEL), unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
3.1.2. Payments made through the Company’s website are processed securely via UniPay. The Company does not store, process, or have access to the Client’s full payment card details and shall not be liable for any technical errors, delays, or failures caused by UniPay, the Client’s bank, or other third-party payment service providers.
3.1.3. All advance payments, deposits, and fees are non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise or where the Company cancels the service.
3.1.4. Where services involve third-party providers, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, guides, tickets, permits, or equipment suppliers, the Company acts solely as an intermediary. Refunds, cancellations, or changes relating to such third-party services are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective providers, and the Company shall not be liable for losses arising therefrom.
3.1.5. Failure by the Client to make payments in accordance with the agreed schedule may result in suspension or termination of services without any obligation on the Company to provide a refund.
3.2. Tour Services
3.2.1. Tour prices vary depending on tour duration, whether the tour is a Day Trip or a Multi-day Tour, tour category, number of participants, and included services. Prices differ between Cultural / Historical Tours, Hiking / Adventure Tours, and Food / Wine Tours due to differences in logistics, safety requirements, equipment, and operational costs. Prices displayed on the website are indicative and may be adjusted prior to booking confirmation.
3.2.2. To confirm a Tour booking, the Client is required to pay a Down Payment of 100 GEL per person per tour day. The Down Payment must be paid online via the payment system integrated into the Company’s website. A booking is deemed confirmed only upon successful receipt of payment.
3.2.3. The remaining balance of the Tour price must be paid in full prior to or during the Tour, either in cash on-site or by another payment method agreed with the Company in advance. This requirement applies to both Day Trips and Multi-day Tours.
3.2.4. If the Client fails to pay the remaining balance in full, the Company reserves the right to terminate the Tour immediately without any refund.
3.2.5. Where a Tour includes walking routes, hiking, or other physical activities, the Client confirms that they have assessed their own physical fitness and capability to participate. Any mobility limitations or relevant health conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
3.2.6. If during the Tour the Client chooses to shorten a route, skip certain sites, or withdraw from activities due to fatigue, discomfort, or personal preference, the Tour shall be deemed fully delivered and no refund shall be issued.
3.2.7. Food and Wine Tours
Food and Wine Tours are generally operated as one-day group tours and are open to the general public.

The standard group price is 410 GEL per person, applicable when a minimum of two (2) participants is confirmed.

Single travelers may book at the group price; however, if no additional participants join, the Company reserves the right to apply a single-participant rate of 540 GEL.
The minimum participant requirement and applicable price shall be confirmed no later than 16 hours before the scheduled tour date, prior to collecting the remaining balance.
All payment, cancellation, modification, and refund rules applicable to Day Trips apply equally to Food and Wine Tours.
3.3. Travel Consultation and Itinerary Design Services
3.3.1. The Travel Consultation Service consists of a one-hour online video consultation and is provided for a fee of 130 GEL.
3.3.2. The combined Travel Consultation and Itinerary Design Service includes one consultation and a personalized itinerary delivered in PDF format. Pricing is determined by trip duration:

up to 1 week – 270 GEL

up to 2 weeks – 330 GEL

up to 3 weeks – 390 GEL
3.3.3. Full payment is required in advance. All payments are non-refundable. Failure to attend a scheduled consultation does not entitle the Client to a refund.
3.3.4. Upon the Client’s request, the Company may assist in arranging and booking accommodation, transportation, tours, or activities only if the Client books the itinerary services with Georgian Travel Corp. Where only consultation or itinerary services are purchased, the Company may provide links, references, or recommendations to third-party providers but does not perform bookings.
3.3.5. Consultation and Itinerary Services are advisory in nature and do not constitute travel agency services unless expressly agreed in writing.
4. Cancellation or Changes by the Client
4.1. The Client may cancel or reschedule a Tour up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.
4.2. The Down Payment is non-refundable.
4.3. If the Client cancels the Tour, no refund of the Down Payment shall be issued. Any additional prepaid services shall be refunded only in accordance with the refund policies of the relevant third-party providers.
4.4. If the Client fails to appear for the tour, arrives late, or voluntarily leaves the tour before its completion, no refunds shall be issued.
5. Cancellation or Changes by the Company
5.1. The Company may cancel or modify a Tour due to force majeure, safety concerns, insufficient participants, or operational reasons.
5.2. In case of cancellation before the Tour starts, the Client shall receive a refund of the Down Payment or reschedule the Tour.
5.3. The Company may make reasonable changes to itineraries, schedules, or routes due to safety, weather, or logistical considerations. Such changes shall not be considered a cancellation and shall not entitle the Client to a refund, provided the core tour service is delivered.
5.4. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential costs incurred by the Client as a result of cancellation or changes, including transportation, accommodation, or other independently arranged services.
6. Travel Insurance
6.1. The Company does not provide travel insurance.
6.2. The Client is responsible for obtaining adequate insurance.
6.3. Lack of insurance does not constitute grounds for refund.
7. Marketing Materials and Image Rights
7.1. The Client consents to photos and videos taken during Tours.
7.2. The Company may use such materials worldwide, royalty-free, for marketing purposes.
8. Risk, Responsibility, and Conduct
8.1. Tours may involve physical activity and travel in remote areas.
8.2. The Client assumes all risks to the fullest extent permitted by Georgian law.
8.3. The Company may terminate participation without refund for unsafe or unlawful behavior.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. The Company is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
9.2. Tours may be modified, postponed, or cancelled for safety reasons.
